Fund Raising News
How can you help the Conservatory to raise needed funds for our much-needed building expansion currently being planned? Here are just a few ideas to ponder...
- Invite parents, students, teachers and school groups to become Friends of the Conservatory and pledge annually to support our activities
- Help the Conservatory board of directors plan our spring and fall concert recitals and volunteer to help promote and advertise our events
- Can you find musical instruments in your basement or attic that you would be willing to donate so that the Conservatory can have a silent auction at one of our recitals? Wouldn't that event be fun?
- Let's have a fun lemonade stand and bake sale or antique sale in front of the Conservatory on a warm summer Saturday. Are you willing to host a stand during the 4th of July celebration downtown Clarkston? Contact Board Member Martha Stewart at 248.625.3640 to volunteer and discuss details
- Would you be willing to have your own music recital with a small admission or refreshment donation charge?
- How about hosting a champagne reception in our beautiful Conservatory for a few of your closest friends? Your Board Members would be happy to help arrange the event and charge a nominal fee for the use of the facility
- Have you considered naming the Clarkston Conservatory of Music in your Last Will and Testament? Can you find a better non-profit organization in your community that provides the musical opportunities more than we do?
- Could your business or church support our fund raising efforts by providing scholarship funds? Donations are always accepted in any amount!
- Would you like to rent the Conservatory of Music for a special event? Please contact the Conservatory at 248.625.3640 and leave a message for Board Member Martha Stewart for scheduling and price quotes
- Do you need music entertainment for a special event? The Conservatory of Music can arrange for a String Quartet, solo-Pianist, Solo-guitar, ensembles, voice artists, and more. Please contact Director Jim Wilhelmsen at the Conservatory for more details, 248.625.3640
